  1. I’m a long time fan of the show. My favourite Doctor was my first-Tom Baker. I can still recall, as a nine year old, watching the fourth Doctor’s final episode (without knowing it then). Baker had been in the role for so long I never even knew there’d been any other Doctors; didn’t even know what regeneration was. I was knelt up in front of the tv at my grandparents house when Baker fell from that satellite dish and Davison opened his eyes. “Who’s he??!!!” I cried. My other strong memory is of Leela 🙂
I’m also a big fan of Troughton, and of the reboot I liked Tennant.
But I need some help with McCoy, I just can’t watch him. His is the only Doctor I own no DVDs of. Any advice?

      • I didn’t mean advice on how to get DVDs and physically watch him, I meant more how to be able to enjoy the show with him in the role? He’s the only one I really can’t get into and enjoy as the Doctor-that’s why I own none of his stories.
By the way-I’m looking forward to seeing the new female Doctor.

      • well watch doctor who remembrance of the daleks also curse of ferric as both do intro him. I would take it simple him as he is bit of harder watch but his era is very good with some fun little stories

  2. I love Doctor Who so much. Classic Who is my favourite era, but I do like the reboot series too.
Who is your favourite doctor or doctors? Mine are Jon Pertwee, Peter Capaldi, Matt Smith, Sylvester McCoy and Tom Baker. My favourite companions are Sarah Jane Smith, Ace, Peri, Jo, Clara and Ian and Barbara.
