I’m a long time fan of the show. My favourite Doctor was my first-Tom Baker. I can still recall, as a nine year old, watching the fourth Doctor’s final episode (without knowing it then). Baker had been in the role for so long I never even knew there’d been any other Doctors; didn’t even know what regeneration was. I was knelt up in front of the tv at my grandparents house when Baker fell from that satellite dish and Davison opened his eyes. “Who’s he??!!!” I cried. My other strong memory is of Leela 🙂
I’m also a big fan of Troughton, and of the reboot I liked Tennant.
But I need some help with McCoy, I just can’t watch him. His is the only Doctor I own no DVDs of. Any advice?

I didn’t mean advice on how to get DVDs and physically watch him, I meant more how to be able to enjoy the show with him in the role? He’s the only one I really can’t get into and enjoy as the Doctor-that’s why I own none of his stories.
By the way-I’m looking forward to seeing the new female Doctor.
